Make a resy at Maiella for an incredible and hearty Italian meal on the waterfront. Order the garganelli bolognese with housemade pasta for a dish that’s as jaw-dropping as the views. The service is impeccable.

Concord Hill is offering free shots (with any purchase) during happy hour for early voters, so make a beeline to blow off some election-time steam. All the drinks are fall-inspired, too!

Eating: Spicy Tuna Sushi from Bessou
In this weekly series, we check in with visitors to Time Out Market New York to get their thoughts on the city’s buzziest topics—from how we’re working now to riding public transit and making the most of a rapidly changing city.
Will you be eating outside this winter if places have heat lamps?
To be honest, I prefer being warm. So I think I wouldn't stay outdoors when it's freezing and is cold. I think food courts might be quite a good option because you can pick up your food, take it out and eat it fast, and you don’t have to wait for a waiter like in a normal restaurant.
Have you done any fun socially distanced activities lately?
On Sunday, I did a bicycle tour in Central Park, which was pretty good. My friend actually arranged it, and we all rented Citi Bikes. Today, actually, I was planning to fly over Manhattan on a helicopter, but unfortunately it's very cloudy so my plans changed a bit.
How are you feeling about travel at the moment?
I've been traveling this year already. I just spent three weeks in Croatia. Everything is very safe in airports everywhere. I think it's really difficult to catch the disease there because you're wearing masks and everyone is quite strict with the rules. It should be fine. I'm not afraid of it.
