Santaland plans
Since 1861, families have flocked to Macy's in Herald Square to venture through the whimsical, festive Santaland, and of course, snag some one-on-one time with the man in the red suit. This year, the beloved tradition is going virtual.
NYPL storytimes
Time Out is partnering with the New York Public Library to present digital storytimes for pint-sized bookworms. Families can tune in Monday through Friday at 10am right here for a remote read-aloud. Next week’s schedule is below.

2–4pm: Sign up for the Dynamite Shop’s virtual weekend workshop and learn how to make dumplings from scratch—right at home!

2pm: Join the (virtual) Morgan Explorers program that walks children through fun projects and a behind-the-scenes look at the museum.

Time Out Market New York will be taking reservations for socially-distant seatings throughout the day on Oct 31. Get into the spirit by dressing up for photo opps (and perhaps some impromptu prizes). Your ticket will grant you a bag of responsibly packed candy and a $5 credit.
