Upland, Le Sirenuse and more amazing spots that won't be reopening their doors
Time Out #4 | Monday 28 September, 2020
Sadly, these Miami restaurants have closed forever
Not to be the bearer of bad news, but a growing number of restaurants in Miami have closed during the lockdown. From Le Sirenuse and Obra to Upland, these notable spots have said goodbye for good.

Eat
Ball on a budget at Nobu Miami Beach. The upscale restaurant debuts Tanoshi hour, a daily bento box special (5:30–6:30pm) filled with all the classic dishes for less than $50.
Drink
Prost! The Butcher Shop celebrates Oktoberfest with two weekends of drinking, eating and competing in Wynwood. Dust off your lederhosen for a feast at the German beer garden, featuring specials on beer, sausages and more Bavarian delights.
Do
Get ready to shake in your boots, er, seat, when the Horrorland drive-through haunted experience rolls into town. The immersive terror game, where guests get to participate from their cars, runs throughout October.

Carb up!
The best Italian restaurants for all your pasta cravings
We could all use a little comfort these days, like the kind you get from the soul-warming dishes served at Miami’s top Italian restaurants. Whether it’s a cheat day or a Wednesday, which seems as good a day as any to tuck into a bowl of spaghetti, here’s where to go for your next big carb-filled feast.
Macchialina
Michael Pirolo’s laid-back trattoria serves homemade Italian food in a delightful, garden setting. Though in the heart of touristy South Beach, it regularly packs in the locals ready to tuck into tasty cavatelli.
Perricone’s Marketplace & Café
We waited nearly two years for Perricone’s to return and now the rustic Italian spot is back with even more allure: an extensive list of quality wines, excellent pasta dishes and parking spaces for all.
Do you have a minute?
2020: it’s seen a fair few twists, turns and regrettable hairstyles. As we grow closer to the end of it all (the year, we mean!), it’s a great time to take stock. In particular, we want to know what going out feels like for you. Have you been making the most of outdoor dining or are you never leaving the house again? Either way, tell us all about it and you'll have a chance to win a $50 Amazon gift card!

The very last building late architect Zaha Hadid worked on—her first residential tower in the Western Hemisphere—is finally open and it’s a showstopper. One Thousand Museum is 62 stories of pure luxury and it stuns from every angle. ✨
