Your Chicago Restaurant Week
cheat sheet |
Running through April 4, this year's edition of the annual culinary celebration has adapted to the unique times we're living in, with many restaurants offering takeout and delivery options. More than 250 spots have put together prix fixe menus for lunch, brunch and dinner—and we’ve rounded up some of our favorite options. Just make sure you get a reservation before it’s too late. |

The best things to do in Chicago |
What to do this
week |
Spring has arrived and it’s brought more things to do throughout the city (or from home). See Bisa Butler's beautiful quilts on display at the Art Institute of Chicago or tune into a streaming set from jazz drummer Makaya McCraven, recorded at Thalia Hall. |
Hang out with your ‘Friends’ |
After a few months off, The ‘Friends’ Experience Chicago is welcoming guests again in the Shops at Northbridge. Snag a ticket to the pop-up and check out reconstructed sets from the popular show, including Central Perk and Joey and Chandler's apartment. |
| |
See some colorful spring blooms |
Make plans to catch the Spring Flower Show at Garfield Park Conservatory, which is on display through May 9. You’ll need to make a free reservation to visit, and you can see the Palm House and the Desert House while you’re there. |
See something new at the WNDR Museum |
The home of Chicago’s only Infinity Mirror Room has welcomed two works by famed artist Keith Haring to its collection. Visitors can see two metal panels decorated with Haring’s familiar figures, which once lined the FDR highway in New York City. |
